Martin Stevens

Martin Stevens was a Quebecois disco singer who hit the charts back in the '70s with a French language tune named "Mal" and a cover of John Paul Young's worldwide hit "Love Is In The Air." You can watch a brief clip of him performing another song named "J'aime la musique" here (warning: horrific '70s-era fashions in full, unbuttoned effect), and there's a recording of a radio interview he gave to promote his book Sexe, drogues et disco here, but as I don't speak French I can't tell you more than that. At any rate, "Love Is In The Air," which I found on a budget-line compilation named Disco Heat, is a pretty good disco number; 7:04 of simple-but-catchy basslines, swirling strings and a couple of nifty solos on piano and synthesizer to round things out.
